Best Computer Hard Drive Recovery Service in Cincinnati

Data recovery is the recovery and extraction of the actual data. ACS Data Recovery and ADR Data Recovery are two nationwide firms with offices in Cincinnati specializing in data recovery.

Many companies advertise computer repair but not all actually recover your data. There is a difference between repair and recovery. A simple computer repair company might just install a new hard drive in your system and charge you for giving you a working computer. A data recovery company will pull the data from your drive so that your documents, projects and images are preserved. Data recovery is concerned only with the recovery and extraction of the actual data.

For over 13 years, the Cincinnati Data Recovery performs data recovery services. They cover any interface and all brands of hard drives. Cincinnati Data Recovery can extract data from Windows, Novell, Linux, Unix, Mac and Solaris. In addition they offer emergency data recovery. Their corporate clients include IBM, the YMCA, the US Postal Service and Comcast.

ADR Data Recovery is a nationwide firm with a Cincinnati service center. A free diagnosis and evaluation is held after an initial consultation. The diagnosis and evaluation generally take just 24 to 48 hours. As part of that service, ADR will provide you with a written report including your options. Data is secure and information is kept confidential at ADR, as they provide data recovery services for laptops and hard drives for PCs and Macs. The center is located at 8044 Montgomery Road Suite 700 in Cincinnati.

ACS Data Recovery is another nationwide firm based out of Texas with an office in Cincinnati. ACS Data Recovery works with Windows, Microsoft and Linex systems. They service a variety of hard drive companies, including Maxtor, Seagate, and Western Digital. A registered Dun & Bradstreet company, ACS does not charge for a diagnosis. They will not charge if the data can not be restored. They are available for personal and business users and most jobs are completed within three to five business days. After the data is recovered, you can download it from their secure servers. To get your hard drive or laptop to ACS, they do require a signed data request form which can be obtained from their website or by calling 1-800-717-8974. ACS offers complete confidentiality and services many government and military clients. Most major credit cards are accepted.

One suggestion going forward is to always back up your hard drive in the future. A hard drive can be backed up with a second drive within the system or on an external drive

Sorry the above comment is mine..........good work

It's good to know that such services aren't too hard to find. Every time I've replaced my computer in probably the last ten years it has been due to hard drive failure. Being able to recover that information is a huge boon. http://ifixny.com
