My flash drive is not working. It shows the drive name and asks for 'formating' but when I try to format it, it says 'Windows cannot format this disk'. Is there any solution of this problem? more

I agree with Bethany, I've gotten into the habit of turning my mouse off - it has extended the battery life, but I still go through a set in a couple of weeks - if I'm using it everyday.  There's a 99cent store close by an I buy a pack of 12 for 99cent, cost effective:) Iris more

Depending on the type of screen you should use a microfiber cloth (comes with lots of devices that need you to clean their screen). You can also use water but very little water. Friend use your Windows Xp CD and Formate your computer. and after that as you now new Windows Xp provied autometic Driver upgradetion features your windows autometicaly uplode your drivers easily. but my friend i personaly saggest you please Upgrade to windows 7 because in the windows 7 drivers is pre loeded and it perporm all your task wothout and driver and have losts of features .. If you hard drive is unmountable ( how it sounds to me ) then you need professional recovery services. Look in your local directories, but I warn you they are expensive. more

 IF you have an extra external hard disk you can manually back-up your most important files. You can also third party applications and set-it up to do incremental back-ups of your hard drive. more

System Restore has nothing to do with the bios. The bios is not affected by doing a system recovery it is the intermediary between your operating system and mainboard hardware. It sounds like you did a Factory recovery using the disks that came with the computer. To retain your data you should have used Windows built in System Restore feature. It does not prompt for the formatting of your disk(s).... more
